Role Overview

As AI Systems Architect, you'll lead the design and implementation of DeFiMatrix's core AI infrastructure, including our intent recognition system, autonomous agents, and optimization solvers. You'll work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and decentralized finance, creating innovative solutions that make DeFi more accessible and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee the development of DeFiMatrix's AI systems, including NLP models, autonomous agents, and optimization engines
• Design scalable AI infrastructure that can handle complex DeFi operations across multiple chains and protocols
• Develop frameworks for intent recognition, translation, and execution in the DeFi context
• Lead the integration of large language models (LLMs) with on-chain execution systems
• Create robust testing and validation frameworks for AI components
• Collaborate with blockchain engineers to ensure seamless integration between AI systems and smart contracts
• Guide the technical strategy for AI capabilities and future roadmap
• Mentor and lead a team of AI and ML engineers

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML systems architecture and implementation
• Deep expertise in natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and optimization algorithms
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture
• Experience with modern AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) and LLM integration
• Understanding of DeFi protocols and blockchain technology
• Track record of building production-grade AI systems
• Excellent problem-solving and architectural design skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain development and smart contracts
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols and their integration patterns
• Background in financial technology or quantitative finance
• Contributions to open-source AI or blockchain projects
• Research publications in AI, ML, or related fields
