Role Overview

As a Cross-Chain Integration Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the bridges and integrations that enable DeFiMatrix to operate seamlessly across multiple blockchain networks. You'll work on implementing secure, efficient cross-chain communication protocols and ensuring smooth interoperability between different DeFi ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cross-chain bridges and communication protocols
• Integrate new blockchain networks and Layer 2 solutions into the DeFiMatrix platform
• Develop and maintain smart contracts for cross-chain operations
• Implement security measures and monitoring systems for cross-chain transactions
• Optimize gas efficiency and transaction costs across different networks
• Collaborate with protocol teams to ensure proper integration and compatibility
• Create and maintain technical documentation for cross-chain systems
• Participate in security audits and implement recommended improvements

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development
• Strong proficiency in Solidity and other smart contract languages
• Experience with cross-chain bridges and protocols
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and consensus mechanisms
• Knowledge of common attack vectors and security best practices
• Familiarity with major blockchain networks (Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration

Nice to Have

• Experience with Layer 2 solutions (Optimism, Arbitrum, etc.)
• Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs and rollup technology
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and their integration patterns
• Contributions to blockchain open-source projects
• Experience with formal verification tools
• Background in distributed systems
