Role Overview

As a DeFi Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for building and implementing sophisticated data models that power our platform's decision-making capabilities. You'll work with large-scale blockchain data to derive insights, develop predictive models, and optimize DeFi strategies across multiple protocols and chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models for DeFi strategy optimization
• Analyze on-chain data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks
• Develop predictive models for market behavior and protocol performance
• Create and maintain data pipelines for real-time blockchain data processing
• Build risk assessment models for DeFi protocols and strategies
• Collaborate with the AI team to enhance our intent recognition systems
• Develop metrics and KPIs for measuring strategy performance
• Create visualizations and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data science or related field
• Strong background in machine learning and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience with big data technologies and SQL
• Understanding of DeFi protocols and blockchain technology
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Excellent problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain data analysis tools (Dune, The Graph, etc.)
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks
• Experience with real-time data processing
• Background in quantitative finance
• Contributions to data science research or publications
