Role Overview
As Lead Blockchain Engineer, you'll architect and develop the smart contract infrastructure that powers DeFiMatrix's AI-driven DeFi operations. You'll work at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence, creating innovative solutions for autonomous financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement core smart contract systems
- Design and develop cross-chain integration protocols
- Create secure and efficient DeFi protocol integrations
- Lead the development of AI-smart contract interfaces
- Implement advanced security measures and fail-safes
- Oversee smart contract audits and security reviews
- Guide the technical architecture of the platform
- Mentor and lead the blockchain engineering team
- Collaborate with AI teams on agent integration
- Drive innovation in blockchain-AI integration
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of blockchain development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Solidity and smart contracts
- Strong experience with DeFi protocol integration
- Deep understanding of blockchain security
- Experience with cross-chain development
- Strong system architecture capabilities
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML systems integration
- Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs
- Background in quantitative finance
- Experience with Layer 2 solutions
- Contributions to major blockchain projects
- Research publications in blockchain/DeFi
- Experience with formal verification
