User Research Lead (DeFi UX)

Role Overview

We're seeking a User Research Lead to drive user-centered design and research initiatives at DeFiMatrix.io. This role is crucial in shaping our platform's user experience and ensuring our AI-powered DeFi solutions are intuitive and effective for users across all skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead user research initiatives to understand DeFi user behaviors, needs, and pain points
• Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies
• Improve natural language UX and AI model effectiveness through data-driven insights
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement research findings
• Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and behavioral analytics
• Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders

• Maze for user testing and prototype validation
• Dovetail for research organization and analysis
• Figma for collaborative design and prototyping
• Analytics platforms for quantitative data analysis
• User research and survey tools
• Session recording and heatmap tools

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3+ years of UX research experience in tech or fintech
• Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Experience with user testing tools and analytics platforms
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of driving product decisions through research
• Understanding of blockchain and DeFi concepts

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in DeFi or crypto projects
• Background in AI/ML user experience research
• Knowledge of behavioral economics
• Experience with remote research methodologies
• International research experience
• Academic background in HCI, Psychology, or related fields
